Celebrating Success: Annual F&H Car Show Fundraiser, 2024

Chaska's VFW and Chaska American Legion Honor Guard starts the day's events with the presentation of colors.

After the conclusion of the 2024 Car Show fundraiser event, F&H commends its members, all participants, and our generous community for another successful endeavor.

The weather was perfect with plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures! After experiencing rainy weather in the past few years on show day, everyone was in high spirits. F&H members were thrilled at the prospect of a large number of vehicles and attendees. Their excitement was validated when show cars began arriving two hours before registration was scheduled to begin.

More than 120 vehicles were entered at the event, including cars, trucks, bikes, tractors, and military vehicles. One first time car entrant, Bob Boecker, expressed his enthusiasm for future participation by stating, "Oh, heck yeah, absolutely...we'll be back every year from now on!"

In addition to the showcased vehicles, there was a craft/vendor exhibition, a silent auction, delicious food and drinks available for purchase, a Music DJ, and our own F&H member, Mike Peterson, serving as the MC.

As is customary at every F&H car show, the Chaska VFW and Chaska American Legion Honor Guard commenced the day with their color guard flag presentation before the United States' National Anthem was sung.

F&H would like to express deep gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the car show fundraiser in 2024. This includes show participants, silent auction donors, event sponsors, craft/vendor coordinators and exhibitors, numerous volunteers, and our fantastic community. In upcoming posts, we will provide more information about the involvement of these individuals to properly acknowledge the appreciation they deserve. Because of these efforts, F&H of Minnesota is able continue its mission to give assistance to, serve, and honor our local veterans and their families.

Planning for next year's event started, with great member enthusiasm, during and immediately following the 2024 show. We will be sharing some of the ideas and goals with you as we progress! You just may want to get involved, if you haven't already!
