Flags and Honor of MN members met in early December for their monthly meeting, followed by a traditional potluck to celebrate the Christmas season.
As if that wasn't enough activity scheduled for one evening, our group of ultimate "go-getters" tackled the annual making and baking Christmas treats to give to many in our community.
Flour was flying, chocolate was melting, frosting was drizzling, ovens were baking...and merry was... making!
This year several kinds of cookies were baked and decorated...iced sugar cut-out cookies, peanut blossoms, gingerbread men, and cereal Christmas wreaths (pictured...they were beautiful!).
Some of the candies included were...peanut clusters, pretzels with melted Rolo candies, and peppermint kisses.
Once everything was cooled and past the sticky stage, members filled individual Christmas baggies with all the delectable confections...ready for delivery the next day.
Well done F&H...once again!
And a big THANK YOU to the Chaska VFW for welcoming F&H into your kitchen for the evening!
We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas season filled with family, friends, joy, and lots of love!
